SpikeWeather

Terms of Use

SpikeWeather is a free tool that scores beach-volleyball playability from public weather data. By using it, you agree to the terms below. Last updated May 2026.

Forecasts are predictions

Scores are estimates built from third-party forecast data (Open-Meteo and NOAA) and may be wrong, delayed, or unavailable. SpikeWeather is provided "as is," with no guarantee of accuracy. Always use your own judgment about real conditions — especially anything safety-related like lightning, heat, cold, or surf.

No liability

You use SpikeWeather at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SPN Systems LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from your use of the site or any decision made based on it.

Acceptable use

SpikeWeather is for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't scrape, overload, copy, or resell the app or its data, or attempt to disrupt the service.

Ownership

SpikeWeather, including its design, code, and content, is owned by SPN Systems LLC. Weather and tide data belong to their respective providers.

Privacy

SpikeWeather still works without an account — your preferences are saved locally in your browser, and a place's coordinates are sent to our server only to fetch that forecast. Signing in unlocks extra features, and SpikeWeather Pro adds more on top; those need a little information like your email, and the paid tier helps cover the server and hosting costs of running the app. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture of what's collected and when.

Changes

These terms may change over time; continued use means you accept the current version. Questions? Get in touch.
